Mind Your Head

As the evenings get darker and colder, summer is all but a distant memory. As we welcome October, we get ready for one of the year’s most important days; World Mental Health Day. Here at MOVE we want to recognise its importance and raise awareness.

We will be dedicating October to promoting mental health. We are going to start with running a campaign called, “Mind Your Head”. This campaign starts today (1st October) and will run throughout October. The aim of this campaign is to bring awareness to our customers, highlighting how our mental health can affect our overall well being. If you have read our previous blogs, you will know how serious we take personal development and health here at MOVE. Throughout October, make sure to keep an eye on our socials and follow our campaign aimed at promoting mental health.

So, what is the campaign? Here at MOVE we are fortunate to have a working environment where we can always rely on each other to talk to and as the saying goes, “clear our heads”. We understand that not everyone has someone to talk to. The idea behind “Mind Your Head” is to raise awareness and money to help people who may be struggling with their mental health.

Within the month of October, for every MOVE beanie hat or cap sold, we will be donating 100% profit to a chosen charity. It is our hope that the ‘Mind Your Head’ campaign will encourage those who may need help to  take the first and often hardest step towards looking after their mental health. It is our hope that we can encourage people in need of help, to reach out; whether it be to a friend, family member or charity.

Why is this campaign important to move.

Both personal development and health are extremely important to us at MOVE. Mental health affects us all, whether it be from our own experiences or from the experiences of those closest to us. Mental illness is becoming more and more common and it is time that we remove the stigma associated with it. Remember that it’s okay to not be okay.

The relationship that we share with our customers is an area we focus on due to its importance. We do our utmost best to help customers in any way that we can whether it be through our social pages, blogs or customer service pages. Our aim is to give everyone a positive experience. If we can have a positive impact on our customers, then we will continue to be motivated to produce the best blogs, posts and products that we can.
